West Yorkshire Archive Service - (West Yorkshire County Record Office) The service has its headquarters in Wakefield with District Offices in Bradford, Calderdale (Halifax), Kirklees (Hudderfield), Leeds, and the YAS (also in Leeds).

Directory of Information Sources in York - Contains a list of Libraries and Archives in York with addresses, hours, rules of use, and description of holdings.

The University of York, Borthwick Institute of Historical Research - The Borthwick Institute is a research institute specialising in the study of ecclesiastical history, in particular that of the Province of York. It acts as a diocesan record office for Yorkshire and is a recognized place of deposit for public records.

Finding a Family History Center near you - Although they are owned and operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, everyone is welcome to use the Family History Centers. At the FHC's you can access the holdings of the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, the largest genealogical library in the world.

FamilySearch Internet - It's here! While the LDS Family History Library cannot possibly post all of their materials on the internet, they have posted some of their computerized materials plus resources exclusive to this internet site.

Yorkshire Folk Talk - With Characteristics Of Those Who Speak It In The North And East Ridings By The Rev. M. C. F.
